 [Parcourir] | Measuring Behaviour 2010: SSPnet symposium on Unveiling Affective Signals The ability to process and, subsequently, understand affective signals is the core of emotional intelligence and empathy. However, more than a decade of research in affective computing has shown that it is hard to develop computational models of this process. We pose that the solution for this problem lays in a better understanding of how to process these affective signals. This article introduces a symposium that brought together various approaches towards unveiling affective signals. As such, it is envisioned to be a springboard for affective computing. |

 [Parcourir] | Colloque Parlons Techn’eau 2010 La Bretagne, pionnière de l’innovation dans les ressources en eau. Reposant sur un socle cristallin avec un relief faible, la Bretagne n’est a priori pas bien dotée en réserves d’eau naturelles. On connait peu de bassins et de nappes phréatiques naturelles pour stocker des précipitations pourtant abondantes. Et les réserves disponibles sont extrêmement vulnérables aux pollutions notamment par les nitrates. La pression et la mobilisation pour faire émerger de nouvelles solutions sont fortes. Parmi les solutions envisagées, nous détaillerons la prospection des roches cristallines pour rechercher des aquifères profonds. Considérés comme "secs" il y a 30 ans, certains granites contiennent de l’eau en quantité exploitable, comme l’aquifère de Ploemeur (Morbihan). Comment trouver d’autres ressources similaires ? Nous nous intéresserons aussi à la possible optimisation de la gestion des ressources actuelles avec la question suivante : la solution à la ressource en eau doit-elle venir d’une meilleure connaissance et d’une meilleure gestion des ressources connues ou de la découverte de nouvelles ressources ? |
